Our commitment to fair and transparent returns on physical products.
Contesto (Pty) Ltd is committed to customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with a physical product purchased from our online store, we offer a 7-day return window from the date of delivery, subject to the conditions outlined below.
This policy applies to physical products only. Professional services (IT, security, parking, mobile workforce, mining and added-value services) are governed by separate Service Level Agreements and are not covered by this returns policy.

If you receive a product that is damaged in transit or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@contesto.co.za with your order number and photographs of the damage or incorrect item. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping costs.
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
Returns submitted without an RMA number will not be accepted.
Unless the return is due to a defect, damage in transit or an error on our part, the cost of return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We recommend using a tracked courier service as Contesto is not liable for parcels lost or damaged in return transit.
Once we receive your returned product, it will be inspected within 3–5 business days. We will notify you by email of the outcome of the inspection. If approved, your refund or replacement will be processed promptly.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days of inspection approval. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the credit. Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
If you wish to exchange a product for a different model or specification, please initiate a return as described above and place a new order. We cannot guarantee stock availability for exchanges.
Warranty claims for defective products outside the 7-day return window must be directed to the relevant manufacturer or supplier. Contesto will assist where possible to facilitate warranty claims on behalf of our customers.
This Returns Policy is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 of South Africa. If any provision of this policy conflicts with the CPA, the CPA shall prevail.
